The Shenandoah Valley Music Festival Guild will hold a luncheon on April 20th at Bryce Resort, Basye, in celebration of spring. The gathering time is 11:30 am, with lunch served at noon in the resort’s main dining room. The cost is $20 per person and the public is cordially invited to attend.
Entertainment will be provided by the 35 member chorus of Central High School in Woodstock, The chorus is a combination of ensembles at the high school and is under the direction of Kaitlyn Hunsberger. They will present a program of musical numbers from their spring concert.
The luncheon buffet prepared by Bryce Resort Chef Joe and his staff will include Chicken Basye, a grilled chicken breast served with a rich mushroom sauce, Broiled Salmon Filet with a citrus glaze, rice pilaf, redskin mashed potatoes, roasted medley of fresh vegetables (including asparagus), and a house tossed-garden salad with balsamic and ranch dressings. Dessert will include a selection of peach and berry cobblers with whipped cream. Rolls, butter, coffee, tea and soda will complete the meal.
A Cash bar of beer, wine and spirits will be available for enjoyment before and during the meal.
Handicapped parking is available at the resort lodge, with accessibility to the building by ramp.
