What if it rains?

Shenandoah Valley Music Festival concerts are held rain or shine.

This includes heavy rain and thunderstorms. If you purchased lawn tickets, you may be able to upgrade them to the pavilion, space permitting. After 12 p.m. the day of the concert you will have to come our office in Orkney Springs or to the box office near the gate on the day of the show to upgrade your tickets.

Please don’t let the rain stop you from enjoying an evening of great music! Many of our patrons sit on the lawn to enjoy our concerts, despite the weather. In the event of rain, we suggest that you bring your raincoat, an umbrella or maybe even a tarp to sit under.

Please, no tents, and we ask that you keep your umbrellas as low as possible when sitting on the lawn so you don’t obstruct the view of those sitting behind you.
