Please check to see if you have a pop-up ad blocker turned on. We found that some pop-up ad blockers have been preventing a window from showing up that allows you to add seats to your shopping cart. This has been especially problematic for ticket buyers using the Safari browser on iPhone, iPad or a Mac computer. Pop-up ad blockers in other browsers, such as Chrome and Fire Fox, have also caused similar problems.

Shenandoah Valley Music Festival is held outdoors on the grounds of Shrine Mont in the village of Orkney Springs, Va. Shrine Mont is a former 19th century resort, known for its mineral springs and listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It sits at the foot of Great North Mountain and is completely surrounded by beautiful mountain views and lush scenery.

If you are considering an overnight stay, package deals are available. They include discounts on concert tickets and accommodations at Shrine Mont. To make reservations and order concert tickets for your package deal, call Shrine Mont at 540-856-2141 or click here for more information.

If you are interested in cabin rentals near Bryce Resort, you can find them on Vrbo.com or Airbnb.com or go to VisitShenandoahCounty.com to search for all types of accommodations.

Blankets, low beach chairs, and standard lawn chairs are all welcome. The Lawn area is divided into three sections: blankets in the front, low chairs in the middle, and standard lawn chairs in the back. Lawn Patrol volunteers can assist you in finding the best spot for the type of seating you bring.

Festival parking is free and is available on designated areas around the historic hotel. We ask that groups arriving by bus provide us advance notice of their estimated time of arrival.

Parking for disabled patrons is available. Disabled patrons can be dropped off very close to the concert area. Patrons may also purchase tickets designated as handicapped accessible in the Pavilion. Chairs may be removed to make room for wheelchairs. An indoor restroom is also on site.

Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited inside the concert gates. We would appreciate it if smokers would stand on the other side of the driveway that runs past the Lawn and Pavilion entrances before lighting up.

Pets are not allowed inside the concert gates. Comfort dogs/pets are also prohibited; however, ADA certified service dogs are permitted.

Umbrellas are permitted as long as they are held as close to one’s head as possible. Tents and canopies are prohibited. We encourage Lawn ticket holders to wear raincoats, hoods, and other rain gear in the event of inclement weather.

The best way to order tickets is to buy them online at musicfest.org. You can also order them by phone Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. by calling (540) 459-3396. A $6 order fee will be applied to all orders taken over the phone or in-person.

When you are ordering tickets, you will have the choice of placing them on Will Call or receiving them as an e-ticket. Will Call means we will print out your tickets and have them waiting for you at the Will Call booth near the Lawn gate on the day of the concert. E-tickets will be sent to you in a confirmation email for downloading and printing.

The Will Call booth is to the left of the Lawn gate. You must give the attendant at the Will Call booth the name of the ticket purchaser in your party. The ticket purchaser does not have to be present, but you must have his or her permission to pick them up.

You should find a confirmation email in your inbox shortly after completing your order. (If you don’t find it there, check your junk mail/spam folder).  Open the email and click on the blue button in the upper left corner that says “View E-Tickets.” Click the “Print” button at the top of the page or follow the prompts your computer gives you for printing tickets. Make sure the QR code (the black box to the left of the ticket) prints clearly so it can be scanned at the gate.

Yes, but it will not provide you with a link to your tickets.

If you want to have your tickets scanned from your cell phone, open your confirmation email on your phone and click on the blue View Tickets button in the upper left-hand corner. When your tickets appear, present them at the gate so our staff can scan them from your phone. You may be asked to enlarge the tickets for scanning.  Note: We strongly recommend taking a screenshot of your tickets before the concert in case your cell service becomes unreliable.

Yes. We do not check coolers. You can bring all the food you want and you are free to bring your favorite alcoholic beverages.

Yes, if it is small enough to fit under your chair. You are also allowed to bring food and beverages in the Pavilion with you. If you have a big cooler, we suggest picnicking on the lawn before the concert and then placing your cooler along the fence or putting it back in your car before the concert starts.

Yes, glass containers are allowed. Please recycle them by placing them in one of our recycling bins located near the lawn gate or take them home with you at the end of the concert.

Yes, you may enter and exit as many times as you like.

SVMF will only schedule official meet-and-greets at the performer’s request. Official meet-and-greets will be publicized and listed along with ticket information on our website.

Our fees are as follows:

$8 per ticket, applies to all tickets sold. No exceptions.

$6 per order administrative fee for orders taken by phone or in-person.  This fee does not apply to orders taken at our outdoor box office on the day of the concert. This fee applies to the whole order, not per ticket.

$4 added to the price of the ticket on the day of the concert

The gates open at 6 p.m. for concerts that take place in July and August and 5 p.m. for concerts that take place over Labor Day Weekend, unless otherwise noted on the concert schedule.

No refunds or exchanges allowed.

We do not cancel concerts in the event of rain or other types of bad weather. Concerts take place rain or shine. On the rare occasion we are forced to cancel a concert, for whatever reason, we will issue a full refund for tickets.

Our policy is that we do not give away tickets for our patrons. We only accept unused tickets as donations to SVMF. You are free to give your extra tickets to someone else but we ask that you please refrain from doing so in the box office tent or anywhere else in and around the venue on the day of the concert.

You can upgrade your tickets from Lawn to Pavilion but you cannot downgrade from Pavilion to Lawn.

No. You will have to rely on your cell phone service.

Bathrooms are available inside Shrine Mont’s main building.

Certainly!

  • Buy your tickets up to the day before the concert to avoid paying an additional price increase of $4 per ticket.
  • Did you know you can buy tickets on our website up to the start of each concert? That means no waiting in line at the box office!
  • Come early to avoid long lines. Most people wait until a few minutes before the concert begins to get their tickets scanned and take their seats, resulting in long lines at the Lawn and Pavilion gates. We advise getting your tickets scanned at least a half hour before the concert starts, and even earlier for Lawn ticket holders who want to set up their blankets and chairs.
  • If you want to sit on the lawn but are concerned about inclement weather, we suggest buying pavilion tickets as a back up. You can still choose to sit on the lawn if turns out to be a nice day.
  • To save money, we suggest buying concert tickets online at musicfest.org. We charge an additional $6 fee when you order tickets over the phone or in-person up to the day before the concert.
  • Are you bringing your tickets on your cell phone? Take screenshots of your tickets in case you can’t get your cell service to work at our venue
