What is the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival Guild?
The Shenandoah Valley Music Festival Guild is a volunteer organization that raises money to support the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival. Each month the group hosts a luncheon with live music. It also raises money through dinner-theater outings, an annual auction and pie and ice cream sales at SVMF’s concerts. Luncheons and dinner-theater events take place at different locations throughout the Shenandoah Valley. Check back on the homepage of this website or in the Mountain Courier for information about upcoming events.
Here’s what one Guild member had to say:
“Since moving to the Shenandoah Valley in 1994, my husband and I have enjoyed the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival events. It’s always a pleasure to spend an evening at Orkney Springs, enjoying great music under the stars. After attending several Guild events, we decided there was no better way to do our part to support the Music Festival. It’s been a positive experience for us. We’ve met lots of fun people and attended some interesting events.” — Vicki McClinton
